Plans

There are three plans. Each one is a size of workspace: how many people can use the Management Console and the Employee Portal, how much file storage it has, and how many apps are included in its price. The plans differ in size, as the table shows.

What the parts mean

• Console users are the people who run the workspace: the Owner, System Admins and Admins. See Licences and roles.

• Portal users are everyone else, Employees and Participants, using the Employee Portal for their own work and requests.

• File storage holds the files attached to records: contracts, quotes, photos, course media and the rest.

• Apps are the parts of the business you switch on, such as Vendors & renewals or the Service desk. A plan includes a number of them; you can add more as extras. See Apps and the app allowance.

• People, locations and tasks come with every plan and do not count as apps.

The table also gives each plan's monthly allowance of workflow runs, for automations. The number of Developer API keys a workspace can hold at once grows with the plan too.

Choosing a plan

Start with the plan whose included apps and Console users fit, then add what is missing. If you need more Console users, Portal users or storage than a plan includes, you can add them in packs rather than move up a plan: see Capacity packs. If you need more apps, each one past the allowance is billed at its own price.
