You can connect an AI app, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, to kitset.io and ask it about your work: what needs you today, where a purchase request has got to, which laptops are due back. The AI app reads kitset.io as you, sees only what you can see here, and cannot change anything.
Your workspace decides whether AI apps may connect, and which apps they may read. If Connected AI apps on your Security & sessions page says AI connections are off, ask an Owner or System Admin.
Connect
In your AI app, add a connector, sometimes called a custom connector or a remote MCP server, with this address:
The AI app opens a kitset.io page. Sign in, with your authenticator code if you use one.
Check who is asking. An AI app kitset.io could verify shows its own address. One marked Unverified named itself, so make sure it is the app you are setting up.
Untick any app you do not want it to read.
Choose Allow. You return to your AI app, connected.
Choose Cancel instead and nothing is shared. If you are signed in as somebody else, choose Use a different account.
Ask it things
Ask in plain words, for example "What needs me today?", "Which of my tickets are still open?" or "Find the vendor contract for CloudHost". The AI app uses kitset.io's tools to look. Each request it makes is recorded for your workspace's administrators.
Email addresses and phone numbers may be hidden from it, depending on your workspace.
Disconnect
Open Security & sessions. Under Connected AI apps, choose Disconnect next to the app. It can no longer read kitset.io, and connecting again means signing in again.
A connection also ends on its own after 30 days unused and after 90 days at most, and whenever you change your password, sign out everywhere or turn two-factor sign-in on.
